ABRA Auto Body & Glass by Kocourek Automotive Group recently opened on the north side of Wausau with fresh architectural and interior design in addition to construction services from Ghidorzi to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The 15,430 sq. ft. facility is split between 2,550 sq. ft. of front office space and 12,880 sq. ft. of shop space dedicated to repairing everything from major auto body damage to paint chips, scratches, dents and door dings.
The customer experience was the driving force behind the front office area. The floor plan is intuitive, inviting customers to easily navigate the reception desk, refreshment center, restroom and repair consultation areas.
Floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and highlight the attention to detail that was applied to the interior finishes, including:
- A fresh take on neutral walls and floor coverings
- Yellow as an accent color to infuse energy and character into the space
- Natural finish of the case goods for a fresh and modern feel
- Industrial chic design of the reception desk
- Soft seating for a comfortable wait
This design build project gave Ghidorzi the opportunity to develop custom architectural and interior concepts while incorporating ABRA’s national brand standards. ABRA was a comprehensive design build construction project that included architectural design, general contractor services and interior design.
