VISIT FROM GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER COMMEMORATES GRAND OPENING

Ghidorzi recently completed the design build construction of the new Mid-State Truck Service in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, including architectural design, construction and interior design.  Governor Scott Walker added merit to the impact of this facility on the state economy by attending the event, a follow-up to his visit to the jobsite this summer when he cited the project as evidence that Wisconsin is open for business.  Mid-State Truck Service invested $5.5 million in the project, a consolidation of two nearby locations into a larger, more efficient and conveniently located facility employing over 35 employees.  The development includes 12.7 acres of land and a 36,000 square foot building for sales, service, parts, leasing and rental of heavy-duty commercial trucks.

Ghidorzi worked in partnership with Mid-State Truck Service to develop a custom design build facility, capturing their vision for maximizing performance and efficiency throughout the sales, service and parts operations.  In support of the environment and the LEED Certification Standards of the U.S. Green Building Council, green building practices were utilized to improve building performance and position Mid-State Truck Service for long-term cost savings.  Finally, the Ghidorzi interior design team added special interior touches to reflect Mid-State’s progressive mindset while emphasizing the company’s rich history.  Project highlights include:
