St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Oratory is a historic Wausau landmark built in the early 1900s.  At nearly 100 years old, the property received a significant renovation totaling 16,000 sq. ft. of updated space and 4,500 sq. ft. of new construction to improve building structure and mechanicals and to renew its beauty.  The extensive remodel included a new roof, an addition connecting the church to the rectory, new garage, parking lot and landscaping.  Numerous artists and artisans from as far as Germany were commissioned to achieve the new aesthetic.
